LW Holders (Clamping System M)
Combined pin/wedge clamp for negative two-side triangular inserts.
An extremely sturdy clamping system, specially designed for interrupted
cuts. The tool is protected by a carbide shim.
LS Holders (Clamping System P)
Lever-type clamping system for negative indexable inserts with hole
to DIN 4988, ANSI B212.12.1-2001 and positive round inserts more than
.750 inch dia. Inserts with one and two-side chip control geometries
have positive rakes from 6° to 18°. Advantages of this system
are large clamping travel and fast insert changes.
LR Holders (Clamping System S)
Screw clamping system for positive indexable inserts with countersunk
hole to DIN 4967, ANSI B212.12.1-2005. Compact design using a minimum
of spare parts for high reliability and cost efficiency. A carbide shim
provides additional tool protection. Toolholders and cartridges with
cutting edge heights more than .625 inch and insert ICs from .375 inch
are secured by means of a threaded bushing. Boring bars with shank diameters
from 1.25 inch and insert ICs more than .375 inch
KS Holders (Clamping System C)
KS Holders for Ceramics (Clamping System C)
Top clamping system for positive indexable inserts to DIN 4968, ANSI
B212.7.12-2001. This universal clamping system is robust and easy to
handle. The height-adjustable clamp permits the use of additional chipbreakers.
A carbide shim provides additional tool protection. Toolholders and cartridges
with cutting edge heights more than .625 inch and insert ICs greater
than .250 inch. Boring bars with shank diameters from 1.25 in insert
ICs more than .375 inch.
