| Friction
bearing nuts will increase the clamping pressure on the shank
of the tool up to 25% compared to standard clamping nuts.
The bearing reduces the friction between the nut and the collet,
therefore creating more down force on the collet. This nut
is recommended for use with high demand drilling, milling
and tapping. The collet must be snapped into the nut for proper
assembly.
Use these nuts for spindle speeds below 18,000 RPM.
For higher clamping pressure on ER11, ER16, and ER20, use
"Power Coat" nuts series 411.
