Holo-Krome

When fastener talk turns to quality, one brand is mentioned without fail: Holo-Krome. And little wonder, for Holo-Krome fasteners have been performing in some pretty tight spots, under tremendous pressures, for years, even decades, without fail. How? The answer is simple. There is no compromising when it comes to quality. None.

Holo-Krome has been a leader in the socket screw industry since 1930, when they developed and later patented the first practical cold heading process for mass producing high tensile alloy steel socket screw.

Today, virtually all products of that nature are manufactured by one of the methods developed by Holo-Krome.

In the early 50's, they developed their Thermo-Forged® process for which they were awarded worldwide patents. In this process the material is prewarmed by induction heating to improve it's plasticity for forming.

With only slight changes in shape or dimensions, they are able to head many parts that previously took a screw machine to produce— and are doing it at significant savings.
